Midwife Joy 

Portland Oregon Midwife Joy Jech was born at home in Oakland, California in 1978. At the age of twenty she gave birth naturally to her first son, Mountain in a converted school bus attended by a caring and wise midwife. Inspired, she realized her life calling was to support other mothers to have an empowering, transformative, and loving birth experience and so she started her journey to become a midwife.

Swan is a wonderful twelve year old cat. He spends his waking and sleeping life blissed out and purring. He leaves palpable oxytocin tracers in his wake. He likes to hang out with and lounge around on top of his humans and most of all, he loves to podcast.
